After an extensive vendor evaluation process by PCWA to replace its legacy software in 2022, the SpryPoint implementation began in early 2023 and went live September 2024. The transition of almost 45,000 accounts started with customers signing up Day 1 on the SpryEngage portal, the successful billing on schedule of all accounts in October and improved automation in the field services team with SpryMobile. PCWA continues to hone the utilization and leverage this investment well into the future as organizational needs grow and evolve.

PCWA is the primary water resource agency for Placer County, California, with a broad range of responsibilities including water resource planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of drinking water and irrigation water, and production of hydroelectric energy.
